The idiomatic use of the verbs of motion can sometimes be close to their English equivalent: вр е мя лет и т ( time is flying ), нос и ть очк и , пальт о ( to wear glasses, a coat ) … others can be more difficult for a foreigner to remember: сойт и с ум а ( to loose one s mind ), дождь ид ё т ( it s raining ).
It is so true that вр е мя лет и т ( time flies )! It s already June. Girls н о сят прекр а сные пл а тья и солнцезащ и тные очк и ( wear lovely dresses and sunglasses ). And everybody is talking about как провест и л е то ( how to spend the summer ).
Many Russians like провест и /провод и ть вр е мя ( to spend time ) at their . There, they take care of their garden, prepare jams and preserves for winter, invite friends and family. In short, they can вест и себ я ( behave ) the way they want.
But sometimes, when дождь ид ё т ( it s raining ), children can get bored. You can, of course, play some games inside or вест и расск а з ( tell them a story ), but they most surely will вывод и ть/в ы вести вас из терп е ния ( make you loose patience ).

They like outdoor recreations but they would never leave their house unless they are dressed properly. After few hours in the cold and in the snow, they like to join in a cafe or at home to drink really hot tea and вест и разгов о р ( to have a conversation ) about life.
